My Story
As a single mom of a teenager who was raised by my grandmother, I have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by nontraditional, intergenerational families. My lived experience, coupled with my education in social work, fuels my passion for helping others identify how family dynamics, past trauma and patterns of behavior impact their lives, and guiding them in exploring better ways of managing the cards they've been dealt. I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive, empathetic space for you to explore your mental health and well-being. I move at your pace, helping your figure out what you want to accomplish and encouraging you to take an active role in your healing journey.
With a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, I specialize in anxiety, mood disorders, cognitive distortion, and substance use concerns. I firmly believe in the transformative power of
therapeutic modalities like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness.
